Fantastic views of the San Juan Islands, the Olympic Mountains, and the Strait of Juan de Fuca makes this sea kayaking trip one that you will be sure to remember.

Situated on the scenic west side of Fidalgo Island there is a small cluster of three undeveloped San Juan Islands, and one National Wildlife Refuge. Whenever conditions permit, our kayaking tours like to attempt a circumnavigation of Burrows Island, the largest of the three islands.

The narrow channels between the main islands are among the best places in the San Juan Islands to enjoy sea kayaking with porpoise, and the seals are a lot of fun too! Eagles, Peregrine falcons, and a variety of sea birds are commonly seen. In 2008, this was the tour that most often enjoyed sea kayaking with Orca whales. This year promises to be much the same.

Many of these kayak tours paddle out to the west side of this seldom seen San Juan island where a historic lighthouse reminds us of an earlier time in the history of the San Juan Islands.

Multiple day Sea Kayaking and Camping- San Juan Islands

San Juan Islands viewExperience the San Juan Islands the old fashioned way- paddle out into them. Although the first people used canoes instead of kayaks, for thousands of years paddle power was the only way to access the treasures of the San Juan Islands. Today we can recapture some of that magic, not in heavy cedar canoes, but in sleek and fast sea kayaks. For these trips we have the smallest group sizes in the sea kayaking industry, a maximum of 4 guests per guide ensures that you will get the attention you deserve.
