Our Anacortes trips are the most conveniently located sea kayak tours in the San Juans, and offer a wide variety of wildlife to search for in a “wild and scenic” setting. Our San Juan Island trips begin with a free shuttle ride from Friday Harbor to the west side of the island. We depart from San Juan County Park directly into the proposed Orca Whale Sanctuary. Even though we do encounter much more vessel traffic and tour groups, there’s an abundance of wildlife to see here and we have a higher chance of sighting Orca whales on these kayaking trips.
