For your comfort and security we custom designed sea kayak docks to make entering and exiting the kayak almost effortless.

The first few minutes of this kayak tour are in the bathtub-like conditions of the marina. This allows folks who have never been sea kayaking before to settle in and get comfortable in the kayak.

Kayaking into Burrows Bay opens up panoramic views of the Olympic Mountains which present a magnificent backdrop to the San Juan Islands scenery.

Most trips kayak out to 3 small islands, which includes a National Wildlife Refuge. When the conditions are right your guide may attempt a full circumnavigation of Burrows Island or Allan Island. Some groups paddle around both of these scenic San Juan islands.  There is something new around every corner on this kayaking tour. Our knowledgeable kayak guides are always on the lookout for seals, eagles, porpoise, and of course.....Orca whales.

Although we pride ourselves on not making unreasonable claims in regards to sea kayaking with whales, this trip presents great opportunities to see whales, and many of the other creatures who call the San Juan Islands home.

Although we do enjoy kayaking with these magnificent creatures on our trips, the frequency and proximity of sightings are ultimately decided by the whales. We feel that it is misleading and irresponsible for any kayak tour operator to imply that whales will be seen on any given sea kayaking trip.
