Guide
Max drove his van from the rolling hills of Tennessee to the rugged mountains of Washington last winter to pursue a life more deeply rooted in the outdoors and intertwined with adventure. He spent the last five years working all over the country (from the dusty desert of Utah to the backcountry of North Carolina and down past the Mississippi River) leading trail crews, teaching people how to build creatively engineered and more sustainable hiking, biking, and riding trails.
He hails from Michigan where he spent his time paddling lakes and rivers, spending as much time on the water as he could (when he wasn’t mountain biking through the pines!) He’s stoked to be guiding in the San Juans this summer and to share the adventure with you!
